"The Zoe Report readers are fashion obsessed and very eager to have a piece of glamour and to have a piece of the fashion world," Zoe told Style.com.
Zoe also spoke to the publication about Rodarte's knack for athleisure-wear that stems from their L.A. roots.
"I mean, Karl Lagerfeld just put sneakers on the runway of his couture show," Zoe noted.
"I think that just broke down walls we never thought could be broken."
Zoe took to social media to share her excitement.
"So honored and excited to have worked with my friends Kate & Laura Mulleavy on this exclusive collection for @thezoereport...it's available to shop now at shop.thezoereport.com!! xoRZ #RODARTExTZR"
The capsule collection features Rodarte's iconic t-shirts and sweatshirts designed for the first time with metallic screens and whimsical crystal-and-butterfly jewelry adapted from the fall 2014 runway, as The Zoe Report highlights.
Kate and Laura spoke to Style.com about the opportunity to work with Zoe, whom they have a years-long friendship with.
"We are all working in Los Angeles, and so it's really hard for us to remember a time, at this point, when we haven't known Rachel."
The duo also added on how this collaboration allowed them to think beyond the runway.
"We love the idea of great design."
"Design can be a specialized couture item, but it can also be powerful with something as simple and wearable as a t-shirt."
Prices range from $113 for a t-shirt to $154 for a sweatshirt to $299 for a handmade Swarovski necklace, which the design duo commented on to The Zoe Report.
"We love the idea of wearing the crystal pieces backwards, with the chain dangling in the front."
