What's the latest from Pamella Roland? Just ask the designer herself.
"The Fall 2015 collection is inspired by the world of fashion in 1970's Paris as described in the book The Beautiful Fall, Roland explained. "It was a glamorous world of designers, models, photographers and their creative conspirators that have become enduring style icons."
Here's how to rip the runway makeup:
- Artists dabbed Enriching Eye Cream ($71) around both eyes to refresh and moisturize.
- Next, to create the perfect canvas for color, Artistry Ideal Radiance Illuminating CC Cream (Launching May 2015) was applied to the full face, to perfect, prime and illuminate the skin.
- Lastly, Lifting Smoothing Foundation ($49) was worked into a fluffy powder brush, starting in the center of the face and applying the foundation in a circular motion, blending towards the hairline.
This look focused on the eyes, so artists used the Artistry Signature Color Eye Shadow Quad in Smoky (Launching Fall 2015) to create a dramatic and elegant eye.
They used Eyeshadow #1 over the entire eye area, blending from the lash line, up over the lid to the eyebrow. Then applied Eyeshadow #3 from the lash line to just below the crease.
For a final touch, Eyeshadow #4 was blended over the outer corners, sweeping toward the inner corners to create an ombre effect.
To finish, Longwearing EyePencil in Black (Launching Fall 2015) was used on the upper and lower lash lines, smudging the liner into the lower lash base
For a subtle flush, Artistry Signature Color Blush in Peachy Pink (Launching Fall 2015), was swept over the apples of the cheeks, blending towards the ear, to create color and definition.
For the lip color, Signature Color Lipstick in Silk Lilac ($25) was applied, blotting with a tissue. And using a fluffy brush, Exact Fit Perfecting Loose Powder ($32) was lightly dusted over the lips for a matte effect.
