Sushi Roxx brings some much needed energy to Midtown East. Located within The Tuscany Hotel, here are 5 fabulous reasons to dine at this new restaurant.
The restaurant¹s sushi menu includes an Original Roxx Boxx filled with Salmon Tomato, Spicy Tuna Crunch and Yellowtail Jalapeno sushi in addition to signature roll offerings like the White Dragon made with eel, pickled squash, avocado, cucumber and cream cheese, Spice Girl with salmon, pickled jalapeno, crunch basil and aioli, and the Mr. Miyagi with avocado, cucumber, Japanese pickle, sprouts, burdock and sriacha.
Waiters and waitresses will take orders before morphing into the night's stars. In the middle of your meal they will break into singing and dancing to expertly choreographed numbers. One of your waitresses/dancers just may be former 'Pussycat Dolls' star Asia Nitollano.
Resident DJ Mocalicious, formerly of Beaumarchais, will spin mash-up hits nightly with videos to compliment each song.
Sushi Roxx was designed by DeVinn Bruce whose previous work includes Co-op Food & Drink in The Hotel on Rivington and Half & Half at The Hudson Hotel. The design is inspired by Tokyo's nighlife and includes hand-blocked wallpaper of red dragons on gold foil and a 30-foot dragon that weaves in and out of the wall over a 20 seat banquet.
Located at 120 E. 39th Street, the restaurant is perfectly located for after work drinks or a great Midtown meal.
