Now in its 46th year, Glastonbury is one of the largest music festivals in the world. Michael Eavis started the annual event in 1970 when several hundred hippies paid just £1 to gain entrance. Glastonbury now attracts more than 175,000 people.
The 2016 Glasto line up includes Adele, Tame Impala and Madness on Saturday and Coldplay, Beck and Ellie Goulding on Sunday.
Celebrities, including Daisy Lowe, Charlie XCX and Poppy Delevingne joined music lovers in wet weather gear and rubber boots to cope with rain, mud and cool temperatures. TV presenter Nick Grimshaw, actress Gala Gordon and musician Whinnie Williams were also spotted.
An array of "It" girls also attended including models Leomie Anderson, Mary Charteris and Portia Freeman and reality star Millie Mackintosh.
