Kanye West shuttled editors and other guests via bus out to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island to watch Yeezy Season 4. Once again, performance artist Vanessa Beecroft choreographed the show.
Dozens of models were arranged in a formation within the center of the park, while others walked around an elevated white triangular runway. The clothing was very similar to last season, skin-tight leotards, bike shorts and bra-tops in mostly nude tones. Some of the runway models also wore oversized canvas jackets, either in solid neutrals or camo prints. Celebrities walking the runway included Sophia Richie, Teyana Taylor and Chanel Iman. Richie wore the transparent boots Kim Kardashian was spotted in earlier this week.

Famous faces in the audience included Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Tyga, Pharrell Williams, La la Anthony, Desiigner, Fabolous and ex-French Vogue editor, Carine Roitfeld.
An on-site shop sold long-sleeved "Season 4" tee shirts for $75. In an interview with Vogue ahead of the show, Kanye revealed he worked on making the pieces from this collection "timeless". He said: "I want to make pieces that can be timeless. Pieces that you can pick up out of a vintage store in 20 years and say, 'Wow, I'm happy I have this.'"And the 39-year-old rapper admits he doesn't really like to use the word "fashion" and instead prefers "apparel".He added: "Let's say 'apparel,' especially for the style of clothes I make. I'm not saying that this is a fashion proposition, I'm saying that this is a human proposition.'"
Despite what anyone may think of the clothing, isn't it really all about the sneakers? West proved once again that he knows how to build suspense and put on a show. The connection with Beecroft, considered one of the world's premier performance artists, was a strroke of genius.
