In a recent interview with US Weekly, former "90210" actor Jason Priestley talked about his self-titled memoir and slammed former co-stars Tori Spelling and Shannen Doherty, along with Spelling's husband, Dean McDermott.
According to Priestley, Doherty is a diva. He talked about one encounter he couldn't remember about his former co-star and said, "I could not believe my ears at Shannen's very first words after she boarded. Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, 'Really? A town car? You send a town care to take me to the airport, not a limo?'"
Now, Doherty has finally spoken up about Priestley's hurtful allegations. The actress took her thoughts to Twitter and wrote, "Memoirs are so funny. The truth is rarely told, after all, they are trying to sell a book."
Surprisingly, she didn't seem mad at all. In fact, Doherty has nothing but kind words about her former co-star. "Jason is a great guy who I wish well and remember fondly." The actress even gave his friend a shout out and said, "Hope you're doing great."
So does this mean that Priestley's allegations are actually true about Shannen?
Meanwhile, the Canadian actor clarified that it wasn't really his intention to hurt or slam Doherty. He explained, "I do not 'unload' on Shanned on my memoir... Shannen's departure from the show was a sad event for me."
Priestley also took the opportunity to respond to Doherty's shout out and said, "You too Shannen. You know I've got nothing but love for you..."
Shannen is not the only person Priestley name-dropped in his memoir. He also talked about Tori Spelling and shared that time when the actress had a garage sale and sold his very own wedding invite for only $5.
According to Priestley, his saw the wedding invitation right before his very eyes when Spelling's garage sale made it to the news some years back.
