The past few months have undoubtedly been pretty exciting for Beats by Dre. Not only was the company recently purchased by Apple, but it has also teamed up with a major fashion brand for a collaboration.

On Monday during Fendi's spring 2015 menswear show, several models walked the runway wearing luxurious headphones in red, white and blue. According to an Instagram photo posted by photographer Tommy Ton, these leather headphones were created by Fendi and Beats by Dre and are stamped with the fashion house's emblem. According to The Fashion Spot, the over-the-ear headphones will also be available in yellow, black, green, gray and black crocodile.

As for the price, a Fendi spokesperson said the headphones, which will be available in January, will go for $1,300, although that amount isn't set in stone just yet.

This isn't the first time Beats by Dre has collaborated with the fashion industry though. In December, Alexander Wang announced that he was designing a limited-edition collection of custom Beats products.

"The limited-edition collection for Beats by Dr. Dre includes my favorite headphones and portable speaker," Wang told WWD.

"For this collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, it felt right and a natural choice for me to give the Beats Studio headphones, Beats Pill and Urbeats earbuds a clean, minimal look with a luxe sensibility."

Wang revealed to WWD that he uses Beats by Dr. Dre when he travels, and he has been a fan of the products for some time. Other than the fact that Beats by Dr. Dre are a product Wang himself uses and enjoys, the designer said another one of the reasons he chose to take part in this collaboration is because he has always been inspired by music and recognizes its role in design and the fashion industry.

"I have always looked to music and musicians for inspiration and as collaborators because there is such a purity to their talent. Different types of music can also transform how you interpret or understand a fashion show, or film. It's creating a story and translating a message," Wang said.
