Forbes recently released its annual list of the most powerful celebrities in the world, and in addition to the slew of musicians, athletes and movie stars featured, a number of fashion models also made the cut this year.
Of all the models on the list, which ranks celebrities based on their fame and money, Gisele Bündchen was ranked the highest in 56th place. According to the list, Bündchen made about $47 million in the past 12 months before taxes and other fees.
Bündchen has been making headlines left and right lately thanks to a number of high-profile fall 2014 ad campaigns she stars in. She was recently named the star of Balenciaga's fall 2014 campaign, as well as Isabel Marant's and Stuart Weitzman's.
Bündchen is joined on Forbes' list this year by fellow models Kate Moss and Kate Upton. Moss was ranked 91 on the list, and 22-year-old Upton - one of the youngest celebrities to be featured - came in at 94th.
Moss has an ongoing contract with Rimmel Cosmetics and St. Tropez and also debuted her second capsule collection for Topshop earlier this year.
Upton, who quickly rose to fame after appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, recently scored campaigns with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Sam Edelman. In addition to her modeling gigs, Upton also landed her first acting job in "The Other Woman."
As for the rest of the celebrities on this year's list, Beyonce earned the number one spot, while basketball star LeBron James and record producer Dr. Dre took second and third place respectively. Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Z, Floyd Mayweather, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Robert Downey Jr. rounded out the rest of the top 10.
