Kenzo has revealed a sneak peek of its fall campaign.
The French label's latest ad got the cinematic treatment courtesy of director David Lynch, who designed the colorful and quirky set.
The brand's latest campaign, which stars models Guinevere Van Seenus and Robert McKinnon, features a series of shots which will be gradually revealed on Kenzo's social media platforms.
According to Women's Wear Daily, creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim collaborated with Lynch, along with Maurizio Cattelan, Pierpaolo Ferrari and Micol Talso of Toilet Paper magazine, to produce the striking campaign.
"We were interested in figuring out ways to evolve the past concepts into something that felt different but still in the spirit of both Kenzo and Toilet Paper. Since the collection was inspired by David Lynch, it was natural for us to incorporate some of the emotions we experience when seeing his work," said Lim.
Judging by the newly released first image, Kenzo's fall collection is showcased in a series of movie-like stills, with the backdrop providing the perfect amount of contrast against this fall's bold and heavily patterned pieces.
Kenzo will reveal the entire campaign day by day from Monday through Friday, starting July 7.
