Jonathan Anderson has been a busy little bee. The newly appointed creative director for all of Christian Dior has been dropping images from his mood board on Instagram, teasing what his vision of Dior will look like. He's also released pictures of his fresh spin on the classic Dior Book Tote and there's a plot twist.

The Dior Book Tote can trace its origins all the way back to a 1967 drawing by former creative director Marc Bohan. Maria Grazia Chiuri reintroduced the concept to modern audiences via her Spring 2018 collection. It even inspired a book club. Now Anderson is making things a whole lot more literal and literary. Taking a page from Olympia Le-Tan's storybook clutches, Anderson is using actual book covers to decorate the new bags. From Dracula by Bram Stoker to Les Liaisons dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos.
