We may want to stop placing popular fashion pieces under the trend umbrella. The truth is most of them never really go away. Athleisure was booming during and after the pandemic. Then it tapered into quiet luxury. Next up were slightly louder ensembles. Now we're heading back toward athleisure and some of us are still hanging on to quiet luxury. Hell, even the long-gone peplum craze is coming for our closets once again. Pretty much anything comes and goes.

Which makes Anine Bing's upcoming collaboration with Reebok exciting. Bing's Los Angeles label started in 2012 and has become known for its talent of blending Scandinavian simplicity with American energy. Definitely not an easy task. The brand supplies truly timeless wardrobe staples that make every day feel elevated.

Reebok has made a name for itself as one of the top athletic brands. Some may argue that its heyday was back in the 80s and 90s, but the sporty label is keeping pace with its competitors. It's managed to stay relevant by collaborating with other brands and athletes. Like basketball star Angel Reese.

Even though Reebok is no stranger to collabs, Bing's brand partnering with the sportswear giant wasn't on our 2024 bingo cards. But it's one of those cases where you didn't know you needed something until it happens. Reebok x Anine Bing basically contains everything you need for spring and summer.

"We designed the collection for modern women on the move with an emphasis on casual daywear inspired by the off-duty ease of vintage muses in the early '90s," explains Bing. "These pieces are intended to pair not only with sportswear, but elevated even further with your go-to, everyday essentials like a tailored blazer and wide-leg denim."

Many of the outfits have real chill Princess Diana vibes. She was known to rock sweatshirts with bike shorts and sneakers and somehow still look put-together. While appreciated for her glamorous fashion sense at official events, it's only been in recent years that the people's princess' more casual outfits have received praise. The infamous black sheep sweater, which was pretty profound at the time, she wore to a polo match back in 1981 was recently introduced to the modern masses courtesy of Rowing Blazers.

Now you won't find any colorful sweaters in the new Reebok x Anine Bing collection, but you can totally recreate the sweatshirt-and-bike-shorts look. On deck are oversized crews featuring both brands' names, classic nylon kicks, bralettes, bodysuits (both the tank and the sweat kind), joggers, university-style shirts, slides, a windbreaker, a tailored topper and, of course, bike shorts.

Prices run from $80 for the aforementioned bralettes to $250 for the Freestyle Hi Shoes. The cool capsule will be available to shop starting April 9 on both brands' websites. On the other hand, if you want to dress like Di right now, you can still snag that sheepish sweater for $248.
