A few months ago Moschino selected Davide Renne to take over the role left vacant by Jeremy Scott. Then we heard about the sad passing of Davide, which meant the Italian fashion house had to start its search all over. Now we know who will succeed the two great designers.

Adrian Appiolaza was just announced as the brand's new creative director and is no stranger to the luxury fashion scene. With a decade of experience under his belt, the Argentine designer held the title of women's ready-to-wear design director at both Loewe and Chloe.

"With his arrival at Moschino, Adrian brings with him a unique wealth of experience, creativity and knowledge of the history of fashion that will be instrumental to write a wonderful new chapter in the adventure of the brand founded by Franco Moschino," Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of Moschino owner Aeffe Group, says in a statement.

Adrian's first collection for Moschino will be revealed next month during Milan Fashion Week.
