The Met Gala is often referred to as the Oscars of fashion. A title it totally deserves. But the Cannes International Film Festival is a close second. (Perhaps we should call it the Grammys or the Emmys of fashion?) Celebrities really bring their A-game to the red carpet, stopping to pose for countless pictures decked out in glamorous gowns and showstopping ensembles.

While there are tons of events during the festival, from photocalls to award ceremonies and benefit galas, it's at the premieres that attendees pull out all the stops. Since the 2024 Cannes International Film Festival is kicking off tomorrow, we decided to take a look back at the best Cannes looks of all time.
